Accident Insurance
Are you a weekend warrior or part-time athlete? Or just a klutz?
Accident coverage pays a cash benefit to help meet your portion of costs, like a high deductible or high out-of-pocket maximum. This is great for someone who doesn’t have major savings to cover medical emergencies and the rent! Here’s a list of some covered costs:
- Ambulance transportation
- Urgent care center or physician’s office visits
- Test and x-rays
- Certain equipment and devices
- Surgery
- Emergency room
- Hospitalization
- Rehabilitation therapy and more
There is an annual benefit bank of $2,500 to $15,000. You’re not required to have other health insurance to participate in this plan.
Hospital Recovery Insurance
Or, How to Save Money on Premiums and Pay for the Hospital at the Same Time!
This kind of coverage pays medical costs during a hospital stay. It pays cash benefits, regardless of any other insurance you may have, to help while you recover following an inpatient hospital stay. So if you’re not into extreme sports, here’s a way to pay for that a high deductible and large copay if you end up needing it. (This plan requires concurrent enrollment in an Obamacare-compliant plan. FYI – Enrollment available only up until age 64.5, but benefit continues past age 65.)
Critical Illness Insurance

- Heart attack
